Graduation season is upon us, and Victoria ISD is proud to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the Class of 2025. From early mornings and late-night study sessions to unforgettable memories made with friends and teachers, our seniors have reached a major milestone—and their moment to shine is just around the corner.
Victoria ISD will salute its graduating seniors across three nights of ceremonies taking place Thursday, May 29, through Saturday, May 31. These special evenings will mark the final chapter in our seniors’ K–12 journey and the start of their next adventure—whether it's college, career, military service, or something entirely their own.
Kicking off the ceremonies on Thursday, May 29, the VISD Success Academy will hold its graduation at 7 p.m. at the Victoria Fine Arts Center. This year, the Success Academy graduation returns to the Victoria Fine Arts Center offering graduates and their families an elevated and more intimate experience.
On Friday, May 30, Victoria East High School seniors will take the stage at 8 p.m. at Frost Field at Memorial Stadium. Then on Saturday, May 31, it’s Victoria West High School’s turn to shine at 8 p.m., also at Frost Field.
Should Victoria experience inclement weather on the day of an outdoor graduation, ceremonies will be moved to the Victoria Fine Arts Center. Campus-specific information and updates will be shared directly with graduates and families as the dates approach.
Victoria ISD is proud to continue the graduation enhancements introduced in 2024, making this celebration even more memorable for students and their guests. These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to student experience, family inclusion, and event safety.
For ceremonies held at Frost Field, gates will open at 6:30 p.m. on both the home and visitor sides. At the Fine Arts Center, doors will open at 6 p.m. All venues will follow the VISD Clear Bag Policy, which can be reviewed at www.visd.net/clearbag.
One of the most noticeable changes continuing this year is the rotated stage and graduate seating, positioned in front of the scoreboard. This setup allows for improved visibility and expanded seating on both the home and visitor sides. We encourage graduates to coordinate with their families ahead of time regarding seating sections to ensure they’re in the best spot to cheer their senior on.
Please note that grassy knolls and fencing areas around the field are off-limits for seating or standing. Controlled access and crowd management will be in place to ensure a safe environment for all. Guests may cross between sides of the stadium via the field house end zone until 7:50 p.m., when that area will close for the remainder of the ceremony. End zone seating will not be available.
Parking is available on both sides of the stadium. Guests are encouraged to park on the side corresponding to their planned seating area. For guests with mobility challenges, transportation assistance will be provided from the entrances to the seating ramps.
Water-only concessions will be available on both sides of the stadium and will accept cash only. No outside food or drinks are permitted; however, guests may bring in unopened, store-bought water bottles.
All three graduation ceremonies will be live-streamed on the Victoria ISD YouTube channel, ensuring that family and friends near and far can be part of the celebration, no matter where they are.
We are so proud of the Class of 2025. Their journey is just beginning, and we can’t wait to see how each of them continues to grow and find their “&.” Let’s celebrate them with the recognition and excitement they deserve!
