Victoria Independent School District will host a Teacher Career Fair on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Victoria Fine Arts Center. The event invites passionate educators, aspiring teachers, and current professionals seeking growth to explore career opportunities with VISD for the 2025–26 school year.

Why Attend the VISD Teacher Career Fair?
· Hiring for All Teaching Positions: Candidates will have the opportunity to meet with campus administrators and explore a wide range of open positions across the district.
· Competitive Salary and Stipends: VISD offers a starting salary of $49,000 for first-year teachers, with opportunities to earn additional stipends of up to $3,000 for high-need areas such as Math, Science, Bilingual, and Special Education.
· Lead Teacher Roles Available: The district is hiring Lead Teachers in Reading Language Arts and Math at select elementary and middle school campuses. These classroom-based leadership roles come with up to an additional $10,000 in compensation.
· Earn While You Learn: VISD supports aspiring teachers without certification through a wage-earning, on-the-job certification program for those who hold a bachelor’s degree.
